Our entire staff is insured, bonded, screened, and trained to provide the quality care you deserve. Our mobile workforce delivers health and supportive services wherever and whenever they are needed. The following is a list of our valued staff:

Registered Nurse - RN

A Registered Nurse is licensed by New York State to perform all nursing functions including the most highly technical procedures, such as caring for clients on ventilators, or providing home infusion therapy. An RN may also work in the home or in a healthcare facility.

Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN

A Licensed Practical Nurse is licensed by New York State to provide a broad range of nursing services, including administration of prescription medications, insulin injections, and monitoring of vital signs. An LPN may work in the home or in a healthcare facility.

Home Infusion Therapy Nurse

A New York State licensed LPN or RN may start and run an intravenous (IV) in your home to administer medications ordered by your physician for pain control, antibiotic therapy, AIDS treatment, and nutritional supplements.

Hospice Aide

A Hospice Aide has successfully completed a New York State approved Home Health Aide training program. They work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and perform various services for a patient as necessary to meet your personal needs and to provide emotional support and comfort.

Home Health Aide - HHA

A Home Health Aide has successfully completed a New York State approved Home Health Aide training program. They perform their duties using a care plan prepared by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse as directed by your physician. A Home Health Aide may perform some unskilled nursing tasks such as a simple dressing change.

Personal Care Aide - PCA

A Personal Care Aide must complete a New York State approved training program before assisting clients in the home with personal care and maintenance of the home environment. All of these duties are performed by using a care plan prepared by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse as directed by your physician.

Certified Nurse Assistant - CNA

A Certified Nurse Assistant can work in a healthcare facility after completion of a New York State approved course and certification exam. The Certified Nurse Assistant can also work in a homecare setting after demonstration of NYS competency evaluation. The Certified Nurse Assistant provides for the personal hygiene of a patient, reports vital signs and performs transfers and exercises.

Home & Community Support Service Provider

An HCSS Provider will deliver the necessary level of support, oversight and supervision to assure the health and welfare of participants in the TBI and NHTD Waiver Services Program.

Independent Living Skills Trainer - ILST

An ILST assesses the needs of a participant of the TBI or NHTD Waiver Services Program, develops a plan, and provides training to the participant, as well as the staff, family, and caregivers that allows the participant to become as independent as possible in the activities of daily living.

Respite Care Provider

Respite Care is the utilization of home health care services to provide short term relief to the primary caregivers.

Wellness Counselor

A Wellness Counselor is a Registered Nurse that assists the NHTD Waiver Program participant to identify his or her health care needs and provides guidance to the waiver participant to minimize, or in some cases prevent, exacerbation of the disease.

Homemaker

A Homemaker can work in your home to provide assistance with housekeeping duties that are non-medical in nature.
